The Crawford County Health Department is partnering with Cribs for kids® to provide Cribettes® and safe sleep education to eligible families (while supplies last). Cribettes® meet Consumer Product Safety Commission standards.
Each year, approximately 3,500 babies in the U.S. die from sleep-related causes. Since the late 1990s, public health recommendations have encouraged placing babies on their backs to sleep to reduce this risk.
The Crawford County Health Department encourages all parents to follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ safe sleep guidelines to help every baby sleep safely and grow up healthy.
