Early Childhood Cavity Prevention/Fluoride Varnish Program

Crawford County Public Health offers an Early Childhood Cavity Prevention Program to children through age six.  This program includes oral health screening, education, fluoride varnish application, and referral for any necessary dental problems.  Fluoride has been found to prevent or reduce cavities in primary and permanent teeth of young children. Crawford County Public Health’s Early Childhood Cavity Prevention Program targets WIC participants and Head Start.
