Notice of Public Hearing for the 2027 Section 5310 Grant Application 

The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country serving Crawford County residents hereby provides notice that it intends to apply to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the following transportation projects under Section 53.10 to serve seniors and individuals with disabilities in Crawford County: 

One (1) wheelchair accessible Transit/Bariatric Vehicle with 7 passenger/0 wheelchair, 3 passenger/1 wheelchair, or 3 passenger/2 wheelchair positions options.

There will be a public hearing on Monday, July 13th at 10:00am-11:00am at the ADRC, 225 N. Beaumont Rd., Suite 117, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821, to receive comment on the 2027 Section 5310 Grant Application. The ADRC transportation unit is committed to providing individuals age 60+ and adults with disabilities with affordable transportation options through the Door-to-Door Service, Taxicab Program, and Find Your Own Driver Program.

Taxicab Program Rates

$15.00 is good for 10 one-way trips within the Prairie du Chien city limits.  
Valued at $25, a cost savings of $10.00!

Door to Door Service

ADRC transportation operates on a “first come, first serve” basis.  Please call at least 48 hours in advance to place your reservations.  We offer transportation for medical and social trips, as well as transportation to meal sites and special occasions or special events.  The special occasions and events include things like voting, concerts in the park, farmers markets, act.
The costs of this service vary depending on the pickup and drop off location and the number of riders to an event.  Please call (608) 326-0235 for more details.


Find Your Own Driver Program

This program allows the Passenger to select their Driver for transportation to a destination and return.  The Passenger is reimbursed 21 cents per mile traveled.  In turn, the Passenger then pays the Driver.  For more information and how to apply call (608) 326-0235.
